Shipping & Returns Policy
We understand that the prompt delivery of your order is ruggedly important to you. That is why we endeavor to delivery as quickly as our beards will allow it.
Orders that are received before 1 pm Irish time are dispatched on the same day excluding weekends and bank holidays. Orders received after 1 pm will be dispatched on the next working day.
The below outlines the duration that packages take to reach rugged customer based on location;
Ireland: 1-2 working days.
United Kingdom: 3-5 working days.
EU: 4-9 working days.
Rest of World: 7 to 21 working days. Varies based on destination.
Note: The above delivery times are estimated and unfortunately delays can happen after dispatch, which are out of our control. Please allow 2-3 working days to the above estimates during the festive season.
Shipping costs are automatically calculated at the time of checkout. For international orders please note, shipping costs shown on your order do not include any duties, taxes or other import fees assessed by governments outside Ireland. These costs may vary and are your responsibility as they are not within the control of The Rugged Man. Please note that the value of your order(s) will be listed on the outside of your package for customs purposes.
VAT is calculated at 23% and is included in the final price for all orders delivered to an address within the European Union. If you ship to an address outside the EU, sales tax will be deducted at checkout. The Rugged Man is VAT registered in Ireland.
If a product is damaged please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will organise a replacement or refund. Please report any breakages or damage within 24 hours of receiving the package. Please send these products back to us within 14 working days of receiving them and we will offer you an exchange or a full refund. Postage on returned goods will be borne by you, unless we were at fault. Please enclose your name, address, order ID number and reason for return/exchange with your returned products and send it to;

Refunds will be given via payment method supplied at time of ordering. Please note that if you have purchased your products via one of our stockists you will need to arrange your return or exchange with them directly. For product returns we recommend that customers get a proof of postage from your local postal service provider. Returned parcels are your responsibility until they arrive safely with us. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and send your item to: The Rugged Man Ltd, Rutland Street Cork Ireland.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
